"Perhaps so." "Meep!" Lionpaw jumped up, looking at his sister and the strange cat. "Don't take us yet please!" Dawnpaw cried, "we just became apprentices!"

Featherpelt scoffed. "We're not taking you yet. We're here to offer you something."

"What?"

"Training. You'll become the strongest cats in your Clan."

"Wow...." Dawnpaw breathed, turning to look at Lionpaw. Being naive, she didn't pick up on the aura of pure evil that this cat was giving off. "We could be trained by StarClan!" Lionpaw's jaw dropped. "How?" He asked.
"Sometimes when you fall asleep, you'll come here," Featherpelt said.
Lionpaw was dumbstruck. "We should ask Sagestar and Specklefur first, Dawnpaw." he nudged his sister, keeping his huge eyes on Featherpelt.

"No, you won't," Featherpelt hissed. "You won't say a thing about me, or this place.

Lionpaw looked a bit taken aback. "Oh.... oh ok." he mewed, nodding slowly.
"Now, answer my question. Do you want to train here, or not? You have one chance, Lionpaw, Dawnpaw. One chance to become the greatest cats in all of the Clans."
Lionpaw looked hesitantly at Dawnpaw.
"I don't know," she admitted.

You could almost feel Featherpelt's heart grow colder. "I want your answer within the next two moons," she growled, before fog grew between them.

Lionpaw blinked sleepily in the soft morning light. He stretched out with his paws and brushed against Dawnpaw's fur. "Yeep!" he jumped awake.
Dawnpaw woke up. "Lionpaw!" she yelped, still a bit disturbed from the dream. She guessed it was just that old mouse she had last night.
Lionpaw saw that his nest was rumpled and shredded. "You okay?" he asked shakily, nudging the moss together again.
"Yeah. Just... weird dream..." She noticed that Shadowpaw was gone. Smokewhisker's always up early. She must have taken her out.
Dustpaw was snoring in the nest beside Dawnpaw. Lionpaw nodded. "Me too." he muttered.
(I'm writing the Maplestar story right now :D Well, kind of. The allegiances take forever -_-)

Dawnpaw stretched with a yawn, accidentally digging her claws into Dustpaw's tail.

Thistleclaw waved his tail. Lionpaw brushed his tail over his sister's shoulders. "I gotta talk to you later.." he said softly.
"K," Dawnpaw whispered, nodding. She frowned at what she heard with Smokewhisker and Shadowpaw, watching them through the gorse.

Shadowpaw swung her lithe build in the air, her hind claws scratching the stick and leaving large markings behind. She then dove down, pinning the stick between her and the ground. "You're doing it all wrong," Smokewhisker said sharply.

Shadowpaw ducked her head a bit. "I am?"

"Yes," she growled harshly. "Do you think your enemy is going to wait while you swing your hind legs around?"

Shadowpaw looked at her paws. "No."

"You are slower than honey. If you stay lighter on your paws, you'll move faster."

(Woot I got the Maplestar prologue done!

Thistleclaw led Dawnpaw out in the clearing where Shadowpaw and Smokewhisker were. "Mind if we join you?" he asked in his deep, cheerful voice.

Lionpaw waited by his mentor.
