Quote:
Silverstripe's eyes hardened. She wanted Shadowpelt to suffer, to go through the pain she went through. He deserves it! she thought scornfully. But she wouldn't let an innocent cat die. It wasn't Silverstream's fault she fell for such a foxhearted tom, Silverstripe concluded in her mind. Rolling her eyes, she flew over to the dog, catching its nose in her teeth. It swayed its head back in forth, desperately trying to get her off. But instead, it only made the damage deeper. Finally, fed up, it raised its head and tried to bite her, dropping Silverstream.
(I knew you were gonna do something like that! lol)
Silverstream fell to the ground with a thud, blood streaming from her side. Shadowpelt hurried over, and dragged her away into the reeds. Then, he turned back to help Silverstripe.
(I know..... I'm guilty. XD)
Just as Silverstripe raised a paw to get a better footing, she realized her mistake. It only took one second for the dog to take advantage of her bad balance, and she let out a cry as it took her head in its jaws, shaking her like a ragdoll. A loud *CRACK* sounded as it threw her away, her neck at an awkward angle.
(Dun dun dun lol)
(Gasp, SCREAM! NO! Don't you DARE let her die!)
Shadowpelt let out a furious roar/screech, clamping his jaws over the dog's eye. He madly raked his claws down it's face, growling.
The dog shook its head madly, snapping blindly at the air.
Kestrelflight ran to his daughter. "Silverstripe...!" He kneaded at her side desperately, feeling panic rise in his throat.
Shadowpelt yowled, leaping off and falling to the ground. He glanced back at Silverstripe, and a sinking feeling washed over him.
Nightstar swatted Kestrelflight as if he was part of her own Clan. "What are you doing? Fight!" She snarled, lunging at a dog. Kestrelflight normally would have swatted right back at Nightstar, but as he was too spun up in his grief, he just looked around wildly.
(Do you mean Dapplestar?)
Shadowpelt clamped his jaws onto the dog's shoulder, shaking his head side to side viciously.
