"I've only been waiting since the ceremony." He rose to his paws, flicking his tail. He padded after her; he wasn't in any rush. He just took his sweet time.

Thistlepaw openly laughed, his tail twitching. "Sounds good to me."
Foxtail rolled her eyes and with a single flick of her tail she disappeared into the brush. Are we going to train?" Thistlepaw asked impatiently, with a hint of a tone of a smart alec in his voice.

Darkstripe smiled, starting to purr.
Shadowpelt's eyes narrowed. "I just can't please her, can I?" he snarled, his black tail whipping angrily. "I try to talk to her, and all she does is give me a cutting reply." he head lowered and tears formed in his eyes. "Cloudshade.. this is the first continuous conversation I've had with anyone for a long, long time." he said, his shoulders slumping. "I'm sorry."He's only sorry because he can't see Silverstream anymore," Silverstripe muttered. "He doesn't give a mousetail about how I feel." She got rid of the bones and retreated back into the medicine den again. Her eyes seemed to be a mix of hatred and depression.
Later, Shadowpelt snuck to the medicine den, when Silverstripe was asleep. He looked around for Cloudshade. "Cloudshade?" he called quietly.
(I have a small plan. Could you go along with it?)
Cloudshade was sorting through herbs. Most of the Clan was heading off to their nests. "Yes?" She had, for the most part, stayed out of the whole circus, though she was a bit more reserved with him.
(Yeah)
(I want him, in the past, to have asked Cloudshade how Silverstripe was every day when she was asleep... think that'll work?)
"How is she?" he asked, his tail and ears flicking nervously.
(Sure)
"Doing better," Cloudshade replied, "but she's... just not recovering as fast as she really should." Inwardly Cloudshade was worried about her; Silverstripe seemed to be a bit more lethargic every day.
Silkies....
(Thanks)
"I couldn't help in any way... right? I mean, she usually doesn't speak to me.." he fell silent. But his green eyes were hopeful.
"You just need to be there with her," Cloudshade said. "Now, don't take this the wrong way, but you did hurt her pretty bad several times. And I'm not just talking about the incident with the dog. She won't trust you for a while. She's been talking to me, and she feels like no matter what she does, you don't care about her. Her words, not mine." Cloudshade's eyes were grave, but compassionate. "You need to show her that you do care. If you do, I think she'll do much, much better.
