Sagestar smiled, a low purr rumbling in her throat. She looked out to the clan. "I, Sagestar, leader of Windclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained very hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn." she then looked back at Owlpaw and gave a serious, meaningful look.
"Owlpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do," she promised, dipping her head.

After she had announced that she herself would be his mentor, Patchpaw copied the other newly named warriors by touching his nose to Sagestar's chest fur when she touched her nose to his head. After a purr of satisfaction from the clan leader, she dismissed the clan.

Patchpaw licked his chest fur a few times, and padded up to Specklefur. "Thanks." he said, his happiness glowing in his eyes.

"There's an extra nest in the apprentice for you. Follow me please." he smiled and padded off. Patch[aw waved with his tail to Specklefur as he followed Thistleclaw.
