"We've discovered who's been stealing prey," Maplestar meowed, meeting Sagestar's gaze. "Silverpaw, tell Sagestar what you found."

"I was out hunting," she began. "I found fresh bones by the border; I had only just missed her. Like, maybe, by 5 minutes. Anyways, I scented it and it was Owlpaw."

"But we want to be made apprentices!" Duskkit protested.

Cloudbreeze returned with two plump trouts.

Sagestar's eyes closed, her ears falling. After a very long pause, she spoke, "Thank you Maplestar." She dipped her head. Even though it was a small action, she truly meant it, and made sure Maplestar could see it.

Thistleclaw narrowed his eyes. "Go, NOW!" He spat, slapping the ground with his paw.

Ashkit squeaked with pleasure, running up and batting at one, tearing off a fin. He ran around with it, Shadowkit on his heels.
Silverstream shook her head, thanking Cloudbreeze.

Maplestar nodded. "Thank you, as well, Sagestar." She rose to her paws, "may StarClan light your path," she mewed, before padding out and beckoning with her tail for Shadowpelt, Kestrelflight, and Stonefur to follow.

Tails drooping, the kits headed back into the nursery. Thrushtail gave them a very "thorough" scolding when they came back.

Cloudbreeze dipped her head. "Hey, don't play with your food!" She scolded Hailkit as he kicked the fish around.

Specklefur looked up at him. "How's Silverstream?" She asked tentatively. "I heard at the Gathering that she kitted."

Thistleclaw shook his head, watching the Shadowclan cats go. He looked up at Sagestar, but blinked as his eyes met nothing. She was gone. Shrugging, he followed the Shadowclan cats to the border.

Silverstream smiled, tearing the fish in half. She gave a piece to Rainkit, who chewed slowly, curling her nose.

Specklefur looked up at him. "How's Silverstream?" She asked tentatively. "I heard at the Gathering that she kitted."

Troutfur smiled, nodding. "She's fine. Three new beautiful kittens." He puffed out his chest.

Sagestar's eyes scanned the clan, searching for Owlpaw.

Shadowpelt smiled at Silverpaw, following Maplestar.

Thistleclaw shook his head, watching the Shadowclan cats go. He looked up at Sagestar, but blinked as his eyes met nothing. She was gone. Shrugging, he followed the Shadowclan cats to the border.

Silverstream smiled, tearing the fish in half. She gave a piece to Rainkit, who chewed slowly, curling her nose.

Owlpaw came back several hours later. "Are they gone?" She asked, padding through the gorse tunnel casually. She was reeking of ShadowClan, as usual.

Silverpaw purred, brushing up against him. Kestrelflight smiled; he knew that Silverpaw was falling in love with her mentor, but what Silverpaw didn't know was that Shadowpelt loved another she-cat. (I couldn't resist )

"Yuck!" Nightkit shouted, spitting the fish out.

Owlpaw came back several hours later. "Are they gone?" She asked, padding through the gorse tunnel casually. She was reeking of ShadowClan, as usual.

Silverpaw purred, brushing up against him. Kestrelflight smiled; he knew that Silverpaw was falling in love with her mentor, but what Silverpaw didn't know was that Shadowpelt loved another she-cat. (I couldn't resist )

"Yuck!" Nightkit shouted, spitting the fish out.

Sagestar's eyes locked upon the apprentice. She flicked her tail at Thistleclaw, who walked forward to carry out their plans. "Yeah, they left awhile ago." He replied, sitting down. "They said they have had enough with the bones and stuff, and will attack if they see anything else. Funny, huh?" He chuckled. Mean while, Sagestar had slunk around behind them, until she was sitting right behind Owlpaw.

(XD Heehee! Shadowpelt has quite the love-life!)

Shadowpelt licked her head, giving her an affectionate brush with hsi tail.

Shadowkit laughed, sticking his pink tongue out at Nightkit. Silverstream poked him with a claw, warning him to be quiet. He humphed, biting into his fish. A 'bleh!' look washed over his face, but he forced himself to swallow.

Specklefur smiled. "What are their names?" She asked. She looked at Troutfur's eyes for a second. He'd be a wonderful father, she thought, before she blinked. Knock it off, Specklefur! You're being stupid!

"Wow, really?" Owlpaw mewed, trying not to act frightened. "They must be really mad. I wonder who it is."

Silverpaw purred, before she crossed the ShadowClan border, seeing the bones of a thrush. "They did it again," she muttered.

"It's yucky!" Hailkit whined. "Shadowkit's is better!"

"Wow, really?" Owlpaw mewed, trying not to act frightened. "They must be really mad. I wonder who it is."

Silverpaw purred, before she crossed the ShadowClan border, seeing the bones of a thrush. "They did it again," she muttered.

"It's you." Sagestar growled, narrowing her eyes. Thistleclaw bristled.

Shadowpelt snarled, looking to Maplestar.

"Day' all tathte the thame." Shadowkit rasped, wiping his tongue with his paw.

Specklefur smiled. "What are their names?" She asked. She looked at Troutfur's eyes for a second. He'd be a wonderful father, she thought, before she blinked. Knock it off, Specklefur! You're being stupid!

Troutfur smiled. "Shadowkit, Ashkit and Rainkit." She's so pretty... He thought, looking away.
