"I will take a patrol with Sandytail, Nightpelt, Brackenfur, and Swiftclaw. Silverpaw and Rainpaw will also come as messengers in case we need reinforcements." Stripestar continued. "Rainpaw, Silverpaw, under absolutely no circumstances will you fight. Understand?"

Silverpaw and Rainpaw's expressions were sulky, but they nodded.

"Good." Stripestar's gaze returned to the crowd of cats. "The cats I named, we attack, NOW!" She yowled, leaping off the highrock and leading the patrol to WindClan territory.

Nightpelt jumped in glee, and hurried after her. His green eyes gleamed in anticipation.

"Mapleshade!" Sagestar hissed. "How are the barriers?" She spat, her different colored eyes scanning the wall of dried grass and bracken.
 
"They're strong," Mapleshade said.

Stripestar crested the WindClan moor, her patrol thundering behind her. She let out a yowl of fury, and Mapleshade snapped her head over to the source.

Stripestar merely gave a small nod to acknowledge Nightpelt as he entered the camp. As the Clan gathered, bewildered and puzzled looks etched across the cats' faces, before turning to fury as they saw the bones. They began to yowl, and Stripestar had to silence them with a caterwaul of her own.

"WindClan has hunted on our borders and trespassed countless times," she yowled, "it's time we show them ShadowClan's true strength!"

OneEye yowled in agreement.

Sagestar bristled in fury, and stood ridged as she stared at the patrol of Shadowclan warriors. "They better be." She snarled.
 
Sandytail lunged for Mapleshade, and the two collided, sending bits of fur flying through the air. Stripestar yowled, charging at Sagestar.

Sagestar stood, her paws spread apart, her eyes glinting with hate. "Bring it on fish-face." She taunted, and flung herself at Stripestar.

Thistleclaw had slunk behind the patrol, and burst out at Nightpelt, and began to shred his jet black fur. Nightpelt yowled in agony, and a serious skirmish began.
 
Spitting in fury, Stripestar aimed a swipe at Sagestar's ear, claws unsheathed.
