Owlpaw was cleaning out the elder's den while Mapleshade, Smokewhisker, and Specklefur reinforced the walls of the nursery. Owlpaw looked at Mapleshade pleadingly. "Can I-"

"No."

"But-"

"NO!" Mapleshade whirled around, hissing. "You broke the warrior code, now you can suffer the consequences!"

Owlpaw flinched, "but after I put the moss in I'll be done."

"Then you can clean out the other dens."
 
Sorrelstar eyed the RiverClan cats coldly.

Thistleclaw watched the apprentice, with understanding, but hard eyes. He understood this was a punishment this kitten deserved, but still.

Sagestar stepped from her den, glaring at her clan. The glare wasn't aimed at them, it was aimed at Shadowclan for making her have to do this.
 
"Mapleshade is the worst mentor ever," Owlpaw muttered, stalking away to get some moss.
 
The riverclan cats hissed then pelted off of thunderclan land (i just got the newest of these books now i own them all :D )
 
The ThunderClan cats growled, making sure they actually left before resuming the patrol.

Cloverwhisker (RiverClan) sunned herself on Sunningrocks.
