Smiling, Specklefur gave each of her kits a lick on the forehead, before she drifted off.
Vaguely, she wondered why everything around her figuratively seemed bleached of color, leaving pale, faded colors where once shades gleamed. What is going on... What's happening to me?... it doesn't matter. Does anything matter? She glanced around at the walls of the medicine den. Medicine den. ShadowClan. Home. What does "home" mean? Does it matter? It doesn't seem to. Do I matter?
No.
(here.)
Duskit's toes twitched in his sleep, as he dreamed. Lionkit slept peacefully, curled up in a small ball.
Shadowpelt opened his eyes, feeling numb and stiff. He realized he had dozed off.... he looked around, then put his head back down when he saw Silverstripe's figure.

Specklefur woke up at dawn. She stretched, making sure to not wake her kittens up.
Silverstripe rose to her feet stiffly. "You can walk?" Cloudshade said, surprised. Silverstripe just gave an emotionless nod, turning to lick the dried blood off her pelt. "I didn't think you'd survive the night..." Cloudshade murmured, turning back to her stock of herbs. What's it matter if I did or didn't? Silverstripe wondered, shrugging. Her mind started to wander, but each thought came back to the same thing: Nothing mattered.

Duskit let out a squeak, dreaming of hunting in the forest.
Shadowpelt as well got to his feet. "Sorry about dozing off Coudshade." he said sheepishly, still groggy.
Specklefur purred as she heard Duskkit, bringing back a mouse for them to eat.
"It's fine," Cloudshade shrugged, applying a poultice to Silverstripe's wounds. "You're good to go," she mewed to Silverstripe.
"Thanks," Silverstripe replied, her voice monotonous. She padded out of the medicine den, her movements almost robotic.
Sunflash hesitated for a moment. She wasn't to fond of eating with others, but if she wanted to be more open she had to start somewhere. And Rainfall had always been nice to her.Riverfall eyed the sparrow she brought in; licking her chops, she took a rabbit to the queens, before proudly admiring her pheasant. She kept glancing at the sparrow; finally, she took its tail feathers in her jaws, and dragged it away. She spotted Sunflash, "hey," she meowed cheerfully, "want to share?"
"I don't know",crystalsight said "Riverclan always seems to hold a grudge".crystalsight began to groom herself."Didn't pay attention," Darkstripe shrugged, "which is good; hopefully if they keep ignoring her she'll stop."
Quote: Lionkit was already up, smiling at his mother. He was eager to get going, while Dustkit still slept. His ears swiveled, and his little toes wriggled.
Shadowpelt forced himself to his feet, and followed Silverstripe.
