~Warriors RP~ ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, ShadowClan

Specklefur purred as she sat down. "Meet your kits, Troutfur," she mewed happily, "Ebonykit, and Shadowkit." She pointed with her tail to the two she-kits, before pointing to the toms. "You get to name them." She purred as she licked a paw.

Cloudshade gave a grim sigh. "Maplestar lost a life," she replied, her voice low. "I'm not going to say anything about what their fate is; both of them are in StarClan's paws now." But it looks bleak, for especially for Silverstripe she added silently as she went to the back for more herbs.
Troutfur watched his kittens with enormous, wondering eyes. "O-oh, I'm not too good at naming things..." he said sheepishly, once Specklefur's words sank in.

Shadowpelt's eyes darkened with grief. He nodded as she went, turning to go out.

Specklefur purred, her tail entwining with his.

"Hey guess what, dad?!" Ebonykit exclaimed, bounding around Troutfur, "you should've seen me today! Today I climbed a big tree! It was even bigger than those!" She looked up at the four great oaks. "And so I jumped, and I landed at Highstones! Sagestar was there, too! But when I went in she said it was her den!" She stomped her forepaws indignantly. "Can you believe that? She thinks Highstones belongs to her!"

Specklefur shook her head, purring. She leaned over to whisper in Troutfur's ear, "she means she climbed on the nursery, and ran into the leader's den."

"Hey, come back here," Cloudshade meowed firmly, "I need to look at your wounds."

Troutfur's face lit up in a massive smile. "She couldn't possibly think that, could she?" he asked Ebonykit, leaning down to her level.
The two small toms watched with interest, hiding behind their mother's tail.

Shadowpelt turned, his movements mechanical. "K.." he replied, looking toward Silverstripe and Maplestar's nests.

"I think she does!" Ebonykit exclaimed indignantly. "We have to stop her!"
Shadowkit crouched down beside her brothers.

Cloudshade began applying the herbs.

Meanwhile, Silverstripe was dreaming. Her eyes fluttered open, and she found herself in the Fourtrees hollow. "Fourtrees?" She muttered.

(Can Shadowpelt enter her dream? lol)

Trout fur chuckled, shaking his head.

Shadowpelt laid down, feeling beyond tired. His eye lids closed, and slowly, he drifted off to sleep.
He found himself staring into Silverstripe's eyes. "Silverstripe!" He exclaimed.

Ebonykit and Shadowkit played. Specklefur rubbed her head against Troutfur's, purring like crazy.

"Look at this, Shadowpelt!" Silverstripe exclaimed, looking around enthusiastically. Even though the innocent, bubbly Silverstripe that had disappeared the day she found out Shadowpelt loved Silverstream instead of her had never returned, it seemed very close. "The prey is perfect..." Sniffing the air, she caught many scents of inviting prey, including rabbits, mice, voles, and even a pheasant nearby. "Ebonykit's here, and everything's so peaceful... I almost feel... happy, again." She closed her eyes as she felt a breeze ruffle her fur. She couldn't remember the last time she had been truly happy.

Troutfur licked his mate's nose, pride drumming in his heart.

Shadowpelt watched Silverstripe with horrified, sorrowful eyes. "Silverstripe.... we need you..... I need you...." he mewed, licking her head.

Specklefur's ears swiveled around as she heard a twig snap nearby. Her fur began to bristle uneasily. There weren't any more foreboding sounds, but Specklefur was still unsettled. "Troutfur... you remember what we do in case someone's nearby, right?"

"Why?" Silverstripe asked, sounding a bit sleepy. "I love it here... everyone in ShadowClan could live here... it's just perfect..."
