Nightstar leaped onto the Highrock. "Let all cats old enough to swim gather beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting!" She yowled.

Back in ThunderClan, Sorrelstar had called a meeting as well.

Poisonpaw and her sisters came before the rock. They looked up at Nightstark wondering what the meeting was all about.

Cottonpaw, and her sisters came before the rock, looking at Sorrelstar.

Sorrelstar did the same with Cottonpaw, Ebonypaw, and Desertpaw.

They avowed at each other before nodding and mewing together, " Yes Sorrlestar." They said padding toward the rock.

Desertpaw, Cottonpaw, and Ebonypaw did the same.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior names. Poisonpaw, from this day forward, you shall be known as Poisonpounce. Ivypaw, you will be known as Ivypool, and Reedpaw, you shall be known as Reedtail. StarClan honors your perseverance," she meowed, referring to how their warrior ceremonies had been put off, "and we welcome you as full warriors of RiverClan."


"Desertpaw, from this day forward, you shall be known as Desertstorm. Cottonpaw, you shall be known as Cottonfur. And Ebonypaw, you shall be known as Ebonyclaw. StarClan honors your patience and determination, and we welcome you as full warriors of ThunderClan."

Ebonypaw, now Ebonyclaw stood tall, and proud, with Cottonfur, and Desertstorm. They all gave Sorrlestar a respectful lick in the shoulder, and walked back down, holding there heads high.

Poisonpounce, Ivypool, and Reedfur gave a respectful lick to Nightstark and strutted down the rock, there tails, and head held high.

"Poisonpounce! Ivypool! Reedtail!" The Clan yowled. In ThunderClan, the same was done with Ebonyclaw, Cottonfur, and Desertstorm's new names.

They felt proud, and they all felt like warriors. Once off the rock, they were in front of the whole clan, facing Sorrlestar and Nightstar.

Sunflash crept through the ferns careful not to step on the sticks that covered the forest floor. She paused to scent the air. She was rewarded with the scent of mouse. Carefully she inched forward until she saw the small brown creature. Gathering herself she pounced, landing square on the mouse. Killing it with a quick bite, she sat back and breathed her thanks then scraped earth over the body.

They felt proud, and they all felt like warriors. Once off the rock, they were in front of the whole clan, facing Sorrlestar and Nightstar.

The leaders dismissed the meeting, and everyone scattered.
