wart?

My rooster has a bare spot on his back just before his tail feathers. There's a weird wart thingy there about 3/4 inch tall. Any thoughts? Otherwise he's fine.

It's his oil gland.

oil gland, leave it alone. I know someone that clipped one off a bird thinking it was a growth.
