Update: 9/20
Has grown up since I posted in July. He is now the alpha roo in the bachaelor pad. He was second in command, but we all know what happens to mean and extra roos.
Any other suggestions on his breed? Now that he's grown.

He's missing some tail feathers because of a predator attack in August

He's the offspring of two Sex-Links.


Notice the Leghorn/Production type-influenced body, the color similar to a Sex-Link hen but instead on a rooster, . . . I've seen lots like this before, and they're almost always the offspring of two Sex-Links.

Very pretty, hope he won't end up becoming mean as he ages. And will repay your rescue of him by becoming a good rooster.

Almost 9 months later, and he's still a good boy. Little rough on the hens but that might be because of the hen:roo ratio. He has 3 LF girls, 4 bantam girls(of which there are only 2 that he breeds at one time because 2 are broody at the same time each time).

We have recently added 14 pullets who are 12 weeks old. We have more pullets in the other shelter but I don't know if we have ALL pullets over there or all cockerels....
