This chicken started out plain yellow, turned white, now is

starting to show red as shown in the pictures.

They were part of an order of 25 rare breed special from Murray McMurray Hatchery.

They looked like they could be red sex links/production reds.

The have yellow feet and beaks. They are all hens I believe

due to the fact they have light colored combs and no

waddles. The pictures shown are 11 wks. old at present.

The chick in question is the standing on top of the feeder. The chicks are about 7/8 days old in this picture.

The chicks in question here are also at the feeder. In these pictures they are 3/4 days old.

I guess if its a hen and your having fun trying to figure out what it is......its ok.
be glad you were not duped with a rooster.

I went out and checked her closer and yes it is rose comb.
After looking at feathersite and grazing the internet we took a vote & decided it is a Buff Laced Wyandotte.

Some blue Laced Red Wyandotte's hatch out with single combs. In fact many BLR breeders use the straight comb roosters for breeding purposes because the rose comb roosters have been linked to fertility problems.
