I just was candling my duck eggs and accidentally broke one. This is what came out…

Had the egg been in an incubator, or under a broody duck? If so, how long had it been there?
Under a duck. Approximate 28 - 40 days. We collected yesterday, day 28 , and candled and I accidentally dropped this one. I couldn’t see anything in most. Some I saw air pockets and something solid in them.

Definitely not fertile, since it had been incubated for 28 days and still looks like a cracked egg (instead of a bloody mess with a lump of duckling).

If you had to drop an egg, I would say that was the right one to drop :)
