Hmmm...He has never hurt or even approached any visitors.I think roosters are nice until their not. Hormones take over and you can't scare that out of them. Maybe Google images of people's injuries from rooster and that might help you get over they "but he's such a nice good boy"
I have a well behaved rooster...until my husband and sons get around him. It's hard for me to believe because rooster and I have always respected each other's space no prob
