This is Sir William, who is supposedly a Polish mix, and the hen behind him is supposed to be a Comet.

Nope, no leg feathering at all. She doesn't lay eggs either, but we love her sweet personality so we are just keeping her for a pet. Here she is at bedtime.

Here's a side view of the light colored one.

Lorrie looks different in the face than our two Australorps - she's got a bigger comb, etc.
This is one of our Australorps; we have two that were classroom hatch girls, and the teacher ordered Australorp hatching eggs, so we are fairly certain that is correct. They look identical.
