Was supposed to be a cream legbar hen, but I'm not so sure.

I'm looking for help figuring out what kind of chicken I have. "She's" almost 10 weeks old and was supposed to be a cream legbar but looks different from the other chicks I got at the same time. She was more golden than everyone else as a baby and looks very different from them now. She's also a bit bigger than everyone else, and I realize I may also be wrong about the "she" part of the equation as well. Thanks for your help!

Where did you get her? She is a she, but she doesn't look like a pure Legbar for sure...

What country are you from/where did you get her? She appears to be a Partridge Alsteirer but they're quite uncommon in the US.

I didn't look too closely at the time because I knew I wanted legbars, but I just went digging on her page and found that she does have Altsteirers! So it looks like the mystery is solved! How exciting to accidentally have a rare breed!

Glad you popped in, Rhodebar Lover, I would never have thought of Altsteirer! I was sitting over here trying to figure out what breed would cross with a Legbar and make a white-legged bird with that feather coloration!
