I was headed down to feed my chickens meal worms and when I picked up the bag I’d been keeping in the coop, mealworms started falling in the ground. The chickens ate the mealworms that fell and when I looked there were to holes in the bottom. What is this?

And don't forget to add rats to that list. If you have chickens, rats are never far away! More likely in my opinion than any of the others.
Never leave feed in something that can be chewed through. Metal feed bins or boxes are best but you can usually get away with heavy duty plastic bins, just make sure all have tight fitting lids.

It really depends on what you have in your area. I only say mouse because that’s my constant battle here, but if you have a lot of squirrels or rats then it’s gonna be from them.
And of course, could also just be your chickens figuring out how to break into their treats. :)

If you have cats around, you'll soon find out if it was a mouse or a chicken. Cats are harmless to adult birds but kill vermin around the coop.
