My almost seven week old ducks met a kid for the first time. One of them, a female pekin, seemed to take an interest to this new small human, but also a couple of times lunged at him, aiming for his neck and biting him slightly (nibbling). She didn't hurt him, but she did keep lunging at him while he was sitting on the ground. What kind of behavior is this showing? Was it aggression or over stimulation or what? She's never behaved that way towards adults she's met and also doesn't even seem to be a bully/top of pecking order amongst the ducks.
