I suspect the blue bowl is causing the eggs to look whitish. Perhaps they would show the blue better if shot against gold or brown?

I can tell a subtle difference in your eggs.

The bloom is a mucous layer to facilitate the passage of the egg, a rather rough thing, through the sensitive areas of the bird.
