I love this site. I learn something new every time I log on. My Goldie was doing this yesterday right after she had laid an egg. I happened to be outside feeding them some scraps and she started going crazy. I'd never heard it before but considering she was just coming out of the nest box I figured it had something to do with the egg. I had no idea that this was actually something hens do. Now I'm excited! I can't wait to go listen for it today!
