I'm looking at pictures of some beautiful birds, especially a white silkie. I have to imagine that those birds are washed. Does anyone wash their birds? What do you use? I've taken Nellie and just dipped her in a bucket of cool water to wash her off and cool her off. So does anyone actually wash those fluffy white birds?

I'm curious about this also. I have a few silkies that I'm always tempted to wash, but I have no idea how? I'd love to see them all fluffed up

I'd like to hear how you go about it and what you use for shampoo? Thanks!

My sister has white silkies, and she washes them in warm water with some mild baby shampoo. Also I read that keeping white birds out of the sun keeps their feathers cleaner.
