Washingtonians again post here

Hello, Washingtonians! I'm a newbie that's so new I don't even have chickens yet! We bought our own home this past summer, and our realtor knew one of our "must-haves" was that the property had to be chicken-legal! We'll be planning our coop and gathering all the free lumber we can over the winter (there's a pile of 2x4's and 4x4's under the porch and a role of 2x4 wire mesh out in the back 40). Then, we'll buy our chickies in the spring...May, probably. I appreciate BYC and all the information I've gleaned here. Look forward to learning more from you all.
