Sorry you feel singled out VF. But dont go away! How else would I learn the antics of my two gypsy girls? And not only that, but sheesh your fun to chat with!

Everyone will have a disagreement at one time or another, it happens. But please dont let it completely ruin your experience here!

Since I've thwarted their escape efforts -- they are on strike. NOT laying. They'd better get their act together or Imaeatem.

You know. I have an entire flock of free loaders! Even with the light in the coop. I know the older girls look like they've taken a beating. lol They are molting, but the younger girls, they are just slow to pick back up... They WERE laying, then one day nothing. I have not gotten a single eggs from ANY of my girls in two weeks! Lazy free loading hens! lol

But do what you gotta do!

Teeny Little Super Guy is my cousin's OEGB, and he does just fine with a bunch of other chickens, including his matching OEGB hen, a bunch of RSL/EE and RSL/RSL and RSL/Delaware pullets and cockerels, an Ameraucana cockerel, and some Delaware, EE, and RSL/OEGB pullets and cockerels as well as random Other- SLWs, a Braham bantam cockerel, some BSLs... He and the beautiful blue Ameraucana are the best of friends, but the last time I saw the RSL rooster Teeny Little Super Guy had just knocked him a$$ over teakettle backwards down the hill with a foot-to-chest blow that took the bantam a foot off the ground.

I am going to see what outside life I can take pictures of, see if I can get a pic of whatever part of the flock is free-ranging today.

Let us be a lesson to us all: that's what trolling looks like on BYC: it's defined differently everywhere, but this is their place, they make the rules, and now we know what the rules are.

This is not me being snarky, I'm really glad to know. Sorry, though, that you are an object lesson.

Both my bantam frizzles are in with the rest of my girls. The light Sussex are getting very large now, and as far as I can see the little fizzles seem to boss the big birds around.

Just poppin my head in ....

Lost one of my girls last Saturday (sometime) .. no trace ..

no feathers, no blood, no sign of a struggle, no forced entry, nada.. Either a eagle picked her up and took her off somewhere, or she ran off with the resident pheasant, for he surely is a looker!

Been getting 4-5 eggs a day now.

Have a great week!
