It is very interesting about the recent surge in bringing the community granges back to life.
The grange Hall here...Willapa Hills Grange was falling apart...and in the last year has been brought back to life with folks offering gardening & bee keeping classes.
It has it's meetings Sundays at 5 PM...so we have yet to go being dinner time & by 5 PM we are exhausted.

I wonder if I could get a paying job teaching those classes?
I have got to get out of this god-forsaken state.

One of the best thing about Hamburgs is that they are darling little silver babies with a metallic sheen and never go through an ugly adolescence: they look very different at two weeks, three weeks, four weeks (when it's easy to determine gender) and then about five weeks they start looking like little adults, only darker, and from that point on they just get prettier and prettier.

I should put up the baby pictures from last spring, although... not today. I had two strong, healthy, young adults helping me yesterday, and I never did learn not to try to keep up with those people.

Yea, sorry don't like it! but, yea, I go there and if they have samples of stuff, I try it. Not gonna know if you like something if you don't??
So, yea, I think most cultures are helpful when it come to learning their language, and it's far better to learn it the way it is naturally spoken. It's just like our formal english......who speaks that??? LOL!

Scared myself this morning. Dropped off DH at work and took the kids to the grocery store for the week's shopping trip all before breakfast. Got home at 7:50 and the chickens were in the yard happily finding bugs! I never let them out.

Apparently I forgot to shut the run last night.

They must have been thrilled to have immediate access to their hopes and dreams as soon as they woke up.

Gotta remember to get out there and shut it now that it's getting darker earlier! Doh!

I've done that too. Once when I left town and the neighbor came to feed the horses and the chickens were wandering around. He about had a heart attack and called his wife to come help him round them up.
