Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I got the same incubator a few weeks ago I am currently on day 12. SO far I have found it incredibly easy... Basically set it and check it twice a day to make sure everythings running right... Good luck

I was told by Miss Molly down in CA not to even think about getting anything less. She said it was built in failure.

Question. Looking at leg bands. The ones that look like key chains look hard on the poor leg. What kind is best. Will be breeding silkies and reg. chickens.

Also, what kind of marker do you use on your eggs before putting them in the bator?

I hate to be a jerk, but if there are graphic descriptions about how to kill a chicken, could the poster please consider giving some sort of warning before going into it? I'm exceedingly sensitive about chickens and the killing bit, and it does bad things to me when I read or hear something without warning. I'm sorry if I'm being rude.
