Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Well after having a little fire on the cuff of my pants that defoliated to the knee before I got it chilled. Then a nice surprise blast of freon when I cut into a tank that was "empty".
I decided to do a quick inventory on the trailer. As of tonight I only have 130 items plus 30++ no mess chicks. But I still have a few build days left and then will be able to make a few things between PNPA and the OR spring swap and then again tween the Spring swap and the Chehalis Valley Wine Tour.
Hey CR, you setting up at the PNPA on Friday night or Sat morn. If it is Fri night I could prolly give ya a hand if ya need it. I am pretty sure I am available that evening.

PLEASE ANYBODY Looking for Lab dogs. IF you have any contact with WaLabs in Onalaska, WA. USE EXTREME CAUTION ! ! ! ! This guy lives close to me and I know him. He is a PUPPY MILL. He has been run off from many places. GOOGLE IS YER FRIEND ! !

Shhhh don't tell youll get us in trouble !!!
Please also do not buy Labs from "Tammy" at Magic Creek in Enumclaw. She has 10 acres, 2 barns. Keeps the pregnant moms in lower barn. (house of horrors?) Dogs are de-barked by a vet in Bellevue, so neighbors can't complain about barking. In Dec 2010, KC Animal control found 28 breeding age labs, none spayed or neutered, on her property. Dogs kept in squalid conditions, floors covered in feces, puppies so full of fleas and worms....(and she's still listed as a AKC breeder, because AKC makes it nearly impossible to file complaints, and it takes no action when you do!! )

The vet said cats with epilepsy is rare compared to dogs. She was going to talk to a neurologist (sp?) and see if they have any ideas. It appears her siezures are triggered by repeatitive sounds or high pitched sounds. Not sure what set her off today. I am hoping it is something easily and affordably treatable.
It is rare but not unheard of and can be treated with a daily pill or liquid drops. If its triggered by a noise/ vibration it could be a issue with her ear drum being undeveloped or a issue with her equilibrium and I am not sure how you would treat that exactly. You should check out this website. My friends cat had epilepsy. Her seizures were caused by vibrations..... Washer/dryer... dishwasher.... trucks going by... anyways this stuff helped a lot... Some people swear by it... http://www.allergicpet.com/seizure_...dWordCatTest&gclid=COPDutOvxLYCFc07MgodDV8ASg

I recently joined this site and I am in Washington so I figured I should post here. I am looking for Australian Spotted duck breeders in order to find unrelated ducks. My hens are all related to each other but my drakes are not related to my hens or to each other so I am hoping to diversify my genetic pool by trading ducklings with other duck breeders.
Welcome to BYC!

She was so awesome...but, she LOVED PAPER, and she actually ate or shredded several pay checks and money I had, and was very bad on my painting table as I use large sheets of cotton rag when I paint...wee wee loved to lay on my paintings & eat my paycheck............and her fur got stuck in my rag paper............yuck.....
I had a cat that ate photographs. They could be inside an envelope or in a purse and he could smell them, dig them out, and chew them up.

One of my current cats is a string eater. We have spent about $3000 saving his life and my husband said after the last time never again :( So I am being super careful! He ate fishing line the first time, probably 12 feet of it, and the second time he pulled many many yards of thread off of my sewing machine. It was wrapped around his tongue and the ends were out his hiney. It was bad.

Crazy cats.

My cats like to tear up cardboard. Egg cartons are their favorite

Our cats are fond of mom's orchids. They also love her African violets.

Well I know not to get orchids or african violets then.

They've gone after chicks, but the roosters are watching them now and all the adults will challenge them until the roosters run them off.
