Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Is there a way to tell about how old chicks are just by physical appearance? When we got ours from the feed store, I forgot to ask them. We got them in Sept. from the new Wilco in Kelso, some of them were 1/2 off b/c they were getting old enough to escape from the brooders. We got our BSL for .50!! Anyway, they are all completely feathered out and are almost as big as the Bantam Am. that I got from CR over the summer. Just curious, I like to keep track of ages. Also need to post pics to see what ya'll think about the sexes.

Then you can "highlight" unwanted portions and touch backspace. POW gone!!!

GOOD JOB, CR!

YOU'RE KILLING ME!!! Love those dogs but I either need a bigger house or TRY to have him/her primarily outside. The property is big enough but the living space is a bit cramped.

We have lights on all year round on our deck. The deck has plexiglass roof, and we have a heater, so we can sit outside with all the lights on in mid winter and it's very festive. They are on a timer and go on at dusk and off around 9:30 (unless we turn them on/off at other times).

It's not so mad to want lights on at other than holiday times, and so who gives a toss what the neighbour's think - go for it!
My sister has the big lit star lights year round on her sliding glass door...there is 12 strands of stars hanging down per string~~~~~~~~~~~ I love them so bought several strands myself, but I have no idea where they are stashed....................once moving into the house, it will be like Christmas here, opening boxes of stuff I have not seen in 3 years and forgot I had !!!!!!!!!!

Or we can just have big BYC processing parties and you can be part of the cleanup crew or something while someone else does the actual slaughter.

I would like to be part of that even if I don't have a bird for the chopping block! I want to learn and not really when it's one of my own the first time.
