Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

So I enjoyed the show today. I think if I get another breed it will be those tree trunk legged cornish. I was just amazed at the size of the large fowl dark cornish rooster's legs I saw. They have sweet faces on them. The bantam ones almost remind me of a parrot.

So the silkie is really starting to like this chick idea. I offered her some food in my hand and after she ate some she tidbit called to the chicks. Only two came out to get some. I lifted fluff and got some protests from the others who snuggled in deeper.

What a good mama you have! Loved the pictures of your new little ones. :)

It was nice meeting you. And I agree after the Monroe and PNPA shows, I am gonna get some Dark Cornish next year.

Great show today! My Wyandotte got on Champion Row, and I spent $70 on Seramas. Chicken math strikes again!

She had pasty butt bad the first few days I had her. Thanks to this sight I knew what to do. She is just tiny and so weary all the time.

Velvettfog I agree total fail.

what can I do to help?
I wonder if giving her some chick grit or feeding her some organic live-culture yogurt or other cultured food night help? Maybe her gut is a mess and she just needs some pampering, or maybe she ate a pile of wood shavings and her gut is full of wood that needs some grit to grind it up? Or giving her cooked scrambled eggs?
