Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Quote: So can I make it in a milk carton (1 gallon) and use it over the next few days to fill thier waterer over the next few days. Or dose it go bad and need to be freshly made every day? Also Does this need to costantly be in their water or do I do medicated water and then when it is gone for the day put in normal water? The directions on this are not very good.
Make fresh daily. I measured out meds on my gram scale and just change water at same time every day.
Ok well then I need to know how much to make for a little Quart chick waterer? Does any one know how much I should put in one of these?

You use 1/4 tsp in 1 gallon of water.
There should be no reason to have to make a smaller batch.
But, if you must, you'll need an 1/8th teaspoon (hard to find) to a half gallon.

Hmm. I might drive down there on Saturday then, to see if I can at least find a nice Polish (or Brabanter) pullet. A silkie would be a bonus. It'll be an "adventure", making a long trip with a 2 year old. LOL I find that the older I get, the less I like adventure. How much do pullets cost at a show? My husband is okay with me picking up a crested bird, since I've been talking his ear off about it for the past year. I just need to be careful to only bring home one or two birds!

These pics are great! I'll make a pictorial cheat sheet! Thanks for posting them.

I'm busy baking today, Just got these out of the oven a few minutes ago, they're just the right size for pannini sandwiches, yum. They're No Knead Rosemary Sourdough and I want to eat one now they smell SO good. Next batch is being slow to rise, but I want to do half the batch as dinner rolls. I haven't tried them with No Knead dough before but the larger ones look so good I'm inspired to try.

I would SO love to get an Ameraucana and Red Star pullet right now, but I have two problems. I don't have a place to quarantine them and I need to get rid of my sweet Ginger (avatar EE). That little stinker hasn't layed an egg in 5 days! She sat in the nest box off and on several times yesterday but nuttin'! I need eggs not just a pretty smile!

Oh well, window shopping will have to suffice. sigh.

Ok I found it...and it is $180. so I cannot justify spending that much money right now...not with taxes, building a house & the Holidaze coming...no way.
If you have the software I'd love to use it....if possible ?

Their security is very good so can only be installed on a single computer. If you'd like to meet up some time, I'd be happy to let you give it a go.
