Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Oh gosh it's been awhile since I have been on, I keep trying to get on every day but can't seem to do it. I've been learning to quilt and love it! Husband ask me not to hatch a lot this year he said can we just pass this year with the chicken. I told him I needed to hatching us but would try and just sell eggs. So we will see how that works out for us or should I say me.
I think if I could hatch less than he would be happier, he doesn't think me hatching 40+ a week is great, but it's fun honey.

Hi,
I have French Black Copper Marans, Cream Legbars, English Orpington ( Blue,Black,Splash than also have Gold Laced rooster with 2Black hens so they will be split. Than toward summer I'm going to put my blue girls with him.) I'm looking for a few pullets in his color right now.

Just curious if you have been pleased with your Cream Legbars as far as laying and temperament?

does anyone have experience with standard size cochins? Are they good egg layers? they were included in my egg laying assortment for some reason. maybe because nothing else was available. But i've only had the smaller cochins and they aren't impressive with their egg laying.
