Tell us more... chickens, ducks, geese, cat, dogs, llamas? Breeds? Jump right in!
Haha right now, just horses and chickens!

Russian Oloff pullets
A black copper merans roo
Some wheaten americauanas.

we are down to four adult chickens right now, we lost our experienced 4 year old roo, and the 1 yr isnt doing so well with his job.
He got attacked by some dogs a few days ago while trying to protect one of his hens, ripped out ALL of his tail feathers...he has got this pink butt right now. xD

Hatching chicks like mad from my hens and other peoples flocks, and working on converting a building we have into a very large, secure coop!

Goats and (perhaps) cows one day, but we are still getting our fences in order!

What part of WA are you in?

Hello All ! I live in North Bellingham. I have a duck question for those WA Peeps who have ducks... I have chickens and nice coops BUT we just got 4 ducks a few weeks back. They are almost 4 wks old. I am trying to figure out the best type of house to put them in. I see some people have 3 closed sides and 1 open . or all closed with LOTS of ventilation. I just want to make sure they are safe and will be warm if we get snow like we did this last winter.
THANKS
