Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Aren't they all amazing? My husband was raised in a tropical country and spent many an hour birding, never had any pet birds, but he is totally in love and in awe of all of them too. We often take our dogs out for hikes and usually spend some time birding.

That's awesome! I love hiking! I want to make it over to BC, they have a flock of leucistic ravens that I want to bird watch!

WOW. Its been a very long time since I have been on here regularly. I don't recognize most you... Hello! Nice to meet you

I just wanted to put a bug in in everyone's ear that I might be looking for some hatching eggs in the near future. No particular breeds just good layers.

Also, It's been a tough decision but I need to move on some of my older layers. They are pushing 7yrs old they still lay for a few months in the summer but I cannot keep up with my egg demand even in the summer and I have a max limit of 20 chickens for my coop. I have about 5 or 6 girls I can part with various breeds. Would anyone here like to give them a retirement home? Otherwise I will post them on craigslist.

Awesome flocks! I bet that Barnevelder roo is gorgeous!
I have 2 Barred Rocks, 2 bantam Cochins and a roo, and 11 10wk old Orpingtons of which 4 are roos. The Orp roos are making it really difficult to decide who is going to stay and who is moving on to new homes. They are all 4 so incredibly relaxed and sweet. They all jump in my lap and love a good comb rub! lol

Ooh, so you'll have chicks/ducklings hatching anytime now? Keep us posted and post lots pics of the fuzzy butts! :jumpy

He is beautiful and has a wonderful personality!! No chicks here...had fingers crossed and hopes were high. Think they just shipped from too far away. Was hard to see progress they were maran eggs.

I have seen my hens climb like the 'chicken ninja' but never that high...crazy.
Amberjem..Congrats on ur beautiful babies!
