Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I've moved on to the cat and dog method for rats. Especially dog. The german shepherd is vicious if she smells or hears them. She eliminated our issue a few years ago and keeps checking. One showed up again a few weeks ago and met a toothy end. The dog will not stop until the rat is dead. She's dug enough out.
Your dogs are awesome !

Our two cats passed onto the big catnip field in the sky, and our dog is good for evening, but she's lazy come night time when the vermin are really active. I'm going to invest in guinea fowl next year.
Guineas make so much noise they will drive you NUTZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
and they love to be ON TOP OF YOUR HOUSE so gathering rain water will not work...and Guineas eat ticks & bugs and do excellent work eating grass seeds and weed seeds, but they DO NOTHING about vermin...they will be UP ON YOUR ROOF watching with 1 eye & sleeping with the other eye (Semi-Hemisperic sleep) but seriously they don't care what is happening on the ground when they are asleep................I LOVE GUINEAS !!!

Uh-Oh ! Keets on the couch !

A family of Guineas captured on our game camera...note how they line up & cover every sq inch as they move along.....

Yep. Riding those motorized carts... It's a bit to get used to, but... when your friends say "Of COURSE YOU should be riding that!!" it's a pretty big clue that it's OK. :p
I have yet to see an available "motoreized cart" anywhere I go, Walmart, Sears, JCPenneys, YOU NAME IT
There is always a line of hugely obese people on the carts
I am not hugely obese, I am not obese at all, I just have 1 leg that doesn't always work, knees that have never been repaired & fold up whe they want to...
MY SO (Einstein) has 1 leg & foot in screws & metal plates so he needs a scooter too...but there never is any available when we shop cuz they huge people have them all...so we struggle to walk out our shopping list or we go home.

My daughter always "loves" it when she steps out in the morning to discover that her cats have left her a present on the door mat.
Mine had access to the dog door, and always left a "gift" on my daughter's pillow: usually a brain or liver with rear legs attached, of a rat, right on my daughter's PILLOW

A true rumpless aracauna ???? Lineage please ?? His pedigree : ?
What is he bred from ?
They are awesome birds !

Not sure on the actual lineage, although I can tell you I got him and hatch mates from Chicken Scratch Poultry. The McEwens breed and sell. The roo in question is rumpless and blue with leakage, we call him Smokey, but his lacks tufts. I'll post a pic in the morning of him.

Thanks, and why again are you getting rid of him ?
I'll be back in the AM, I have to put Einstein to bed right now...ha ha ha

He's an extra. I ordered straight run. I want to keep the roo with the most color leakage...and with all the hatches I had I'm up to my eyeballs in cockerels. I should try to re-home one of my black copper maran roos too. Then there are the mixed breeds... dun dun dun.

YIPPEE for Colton & my Jersey Giant line he fell in love with...3 yrs ago ?
And he may need a good cockerel @Margaret Yakoda

Yes, I am hoping to network with other Jersey Giant keepers in Washington. But I think the link you shared me took me to an error page. I think he's got it set to friends only?
