Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I have a beautiful Buff Ameraucana hen and am wanting to breed her but am having an awful time tracking down a Buff Ameraucana Cock/cockerel.

If anyone knows of anyone in Northern Idaho or along I-90 in WA, out anywhere from Olympia to Bellingham, (my sister is traveling to Seattle for Thanksgiving and is willing to pick them up for me), I'd be greatly appreciative.

Otherwise, if I could get my hands on some hatching eggs, that would work too. My girl is only a year old, so she has a little time.

Sister is driving back on Sunday.

I'd be willing to purchase a pullet or year old hen as well if that would help balance the profit for the seller.

Thank you!

You might try calling some local feed stores also! They may not have them but a lot of times they know if their customers do and may be able to put you in contact! That's how I got my Chocolate Orpington.

I know! I really want to try an all black bird though! But I just like the thought of raising something really rare and different. And this is probably a no-no in the breeding world but I would also like to sell some to the average chicken people at prices they can actually afford. I hate the fact that chickens can be sold for so much money!

I sold dozens of purebred Ayam Cemani for $25 each last summer.
