Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Who lays the green eggs? I was kinda thinking maybe if I can find 3 to add that would fill out my coop
I will be there at the palooza on then 12th think it might be better to get pullets let them grow up
with my pullets might integrate better I will move the wading pool to the coop once they
are feathered out they will be protected from 5 bards with chicken wire but have the room
of the pool

Any crossbreed of an ameraucana, araucana, or legbar with a brown layer will give you some shade of green. Crossed with marans you get a nice olive egg.

Or you can buy some hatchery "americana". Those have a chance to lay any color of egg. I've had some nice greens from the ones I got from Privett Hatchery (which many of the feed stores around here use). The ones I have from Cackle Hatchery lay a blue.

I would really like to have 3 but no more that I could
push to 5 in chicken math

I've got two for sure pullets. They should be fine with Barred Rocks, that's what their mothers are. I also have one Easter Egger that I'm pretty sure is a pullet that hatched the same day that will definitely be a blue layer.
They are almost a month old, nearly completely feathered in, and are almost completely off supplemental heat.
I go out to Longview every couple of weeks.

And that's why some of us get into bantams. You can stuff more into the same space.

As it is right now I have way more eggs than the dogs, cats, and I can eat. No egg customers at the moment and hubby isn't back yet.
