Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I was very happy to find LF Chocolate "milk" while it's not as good as Darigold "old fashioned " it is decent.

That is what my FiL does.

Hi All,
Back in town and getting ready for Chehalis Saturday and I'm even bringing a good friend that also has chickens... fun day all around.

Now I need to know....
1. Are we doing a food related get-together? I need to know what kind of food to bring and when/where are we meeting?
2. Are we doing name tags?
3. Does anyone want red dahlia tubers, Liatris bulbs, a thyme plant, a lavender plant, cilantro seeds? I'd rather not drag them around if no one wants them.

I'm sure looking forward to seeing y'all!

ETA: also Crocosmia bulbs (Lucifer, the tall red one)
I would LOVE a few Crocosmia bulbs !!! maybe a few Dahlias too !!!

Yes Jean I understand that for anyone east Salem adds 160 miles to the round trip. I think they are counting on pulling from Cali. While I really liked Stevenson. Partly because I grew up in the Gorge and it is beautiful scenery. I also liked the facility at Salem. I will say that of the 4 PNPA shows I have done as a vendor. Salem was my lowest in sales. Will I do it again YES. I try not to judge a venue by one time.
Yes my trailer is available BUT the trailer is ONLY 6'x12'. I also have a 6' folding table and a 10 x 10 pop up if we need it. I plan to try to find a close location for the trailer maybe under one of the covered areas . Look for a little white trailer with some kind of pink flags on it!!! Maybe Friday when we get the trailer set and see if I can tap a current bush SOMEBODY (hint hint) with net on phone can post a better idea of plan.
I have a 10 foot by 10 foot awning that pops open accordian style...I used it for art shows.
It could come in handy for any rain amd we can easily put a 10 foot table on 2 sides (like we did before) for food, like in an 'L' shape ?
Want me to bring it & set it up by CR's trailer ??????????????

I love red leaf maples!! They are gorgeous! We had a red leaf Japanese maple that we planted at the house I grew up in...I was sad to leave it behind when we moved.
I have 1 extra...these are just sticks 1 year old and about 6-8" tall, so plant it you'd have to mark where it is so as not to step on it...

I am also bringing sandwich bags of 3 handfuls each of nasties....and some sweet meat winter squash seed.

OK I will dig out the awning, and the folding table.
CR has tableclothes (nice red check ones too!)
So we can put my table & CR's table in under the awning & have lots of room.
And everyone remember to bring CHAIRS to sit on, and mark your name & ph# on your chairs & ice chests and any crates you bring.
awning looks like this but is tan (solid) colored:

Quote: I am working on that needlepoint project, and I decided to start some new traditions. We're going to celebrate Solstice instead of Christmas this year. Slinglings has invited uo for Thanksgiving. I am very grateful. I feel rather Blanche DuBois. "I have always depended on the kindness of strangers."
