Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Does anyone have room for some chicks? I hatched out a bunch of chicks for someone, and was going to brood them for 6 weeks but it's not gonna work out on my end. First batch of 11 are less than a week old and another batch of 11 are due later this week. They are Easter Eggers. A Blue Wheaten Ameraucana over Red and Black sexlinks, silver leghorn, EE, and leghorn x hens. All chicks are bearded. Nice color variety! Free to BYCers. I am unexpectedly moving to Buckley and don't have room for 20 more chicks! We have to build a new coop from the ground up and space will be very tight until we get all settled in. Might even have to rehome a couple hens unfortunately...

You know you want them!

Can hold until the second batch hatches.

Darn it! Too far. My broody has been sitting for 2.5 weeks, and her eggs were dead. I gave her some fresh eggs, but I don't know if she'll sit for another 3 weeks.

I would love to have a few of your fuzzies but my DH may sentence me to live in the coop.

Saw a huge fox today out by the pond. I'll put money down that it's what got my brahma. Probably also what the dog has been trying to hunt down out there.

This is a bit weird I have one barred rock roosting all by herself
I have like two groups of birds that roost together and she is off on her own ?

I wish the dog good luck and stay safe

The gsd has started going out with him. She is 80 pounds of muscle and isn't afraid to throw it around, as trespassing neighbor dogs have found out. What my dogs want is for everything else to stay off their territory. Once something is past a certain point they don't follow.
