DANG ! I just worked my fanny half off, but then I see it is all still there..........DANG!

I went out to plant tomatoes & ended up gutting (down to the floor) 3 complete coops...............and Einstein hauled off 3 trips in the manure trailer the dirty damp bedding from so much rain & poop..............YIPPEE ! CLEAN shavings on the floor !

And 1 more chick out...this one looks like a splash, and out of a OE egg..........................

Hope it is a pullet !

and I let the Sulmtalers out while I cleaned their coop...and took pics of my little runt girl hatched late November...she is a Silver Wheaten Sulmtaler...her Daddy is a Silver Wheaten Sulmtaler Cock, and Aunties are Red Wheaten Sulmtalers.

My little silver wheaten "Runt"

Phot cut off her crest...darrn it !

Red Wheatens in the top, and my silver wheaten "Runt" at the bottom of the phot

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...there she is in her glory, crest high !
Still covered in mud though..............................

Is she cute or what ? Almost like a Dumpy....Sulmtalers legs are shorter than normal...and they are considered a gourmet meat bird...wow

Daddy is a spectacular Silver Wheaten Sulmtaler.....he is also seen in my Avatar...............the hens around him are Red Wheaten hens.................except for the cuckoo girl who wandered into the shot....

So cute....she has learned that I protect her...giving out warm mash food in the morning..she knows I will stand and watch as she eats..and now, after 5 months of winter, she knows my call to her, and if there is food to be gifted out, she comes close to me, cuz she knows she is my favorite............SMART GIRL !!
The older hens have picked on her all the time & bore blood on her tail base...STILL Little Runt survives !

I need to worm them all again........spring time !!!

Well my cornish X meaties are doing well they look like soft balls with legs, the red Rangers are growing well but a little behind the cornish but to be expected they can jump up on things like a normal chicken but are way bigger than a normal one. The big shock is the growth rate of the Pekin Ducks they are really growing fast last weekend I cut a hole in one of the bigger cottage cheese cartens and was afraid they would crawl inside of it this weekend they tower over the top of it they are like 3 times the size of last week amazing.
