OK, she may have only bantams...I talked to her breifly as she ran out the door to lunch last Saturday...so not sure what she has going now...She was hanging with Sheryl Butler, who also has awesome silkies.................

And that is why I decided I'll only seriously work on the partridge silkies. I have a pen of odd color silkies that are just for fun and no brain work required. They tend to be better for my pictures though.

Sounds like way too much fun just made a bunch 10 burlap bags to grow potatoes
in first one dirt and Yukon Gold seed potatoes

And that is why I decided I'll only seriously work on the partridge silkies. I have a pen of odd color silkies that are just for fun and no brain work required. They tend to be better for my pictures though.

I heard Partridge silkies are painful to breed... just because of how many get colors in the wrong places. They are beautiful though.

Getting rid of the orange has been a pain. Then working to darken up the males. I have almost totally gotten rid of the black heads. Yes it looks cool, but isn't in the partridge standard for any breed.

Feed sacks actually work better & do not rot out being wet...they hold more moisture in also.

No...there are already a few holes as the bag is woven.if it doesn't drain very well you can always stab it later on

I am doing mine tomorrow...love those Costco potatoes, organic, and sprout as there is no chemicals on them to prevent sprouting...YUM
