You might be right the eggs are barely bigger than silky sized

So how old are these birds? I have Isbar hens that are black that are laying small eggs still getting bigger but very slowly the eggs are more green than blue but vary a lot.

Twice the size of the Silky but less than full size birds where it stands out

They might very well be the black Isbar then, I will take a picture later of mine I have black blue and splash Isbar and one that's black with white specks. One of my black ones look like yours are there feet a greenish color?

bought them kinda late in the fall and the feed store up the road but did not write down what they were

could be mine last their white now but have not seen them with wings out either but seem to recall Isbar

At the end of the month I’m going to get four little chicks. I think they will be blue Australorp, New Hampshire red, blue laced red wyandotte Colombian wyandotte . The local store lets you place an order with the hatchery and then your order is sent with all the rest. Much easier than trying to pick them up at the post office. Especially if you only want a few.

Junebuggena was doing an order that included some extra she had offered if they sent polish I could have them I have gotten like 8 of my birds from her

I got my three new Easter Eggars from her. They are huge, and laying eggs basically every day.
