Ok just wanted to make sure think my mother might stay here till sometime towards the end of April I will keep you posted.

The silkies wont sit eggs now that they have chicks. Will have to wait for next broody cycle.

I don't even bother trying to add new chicks after a week. Some will take them up to that point but most won't after a few days. They are usually done with the chicks between 6 and 8 weeks depending on the hen.

Have wait and see how the ameracauna does also actually it will not be till the end of
April so I think it would be better to let them rest hope to have the two out of there skirts by April :fl

I have 6 Queen Silvia chickens that are about 6 1/2 months old just starting to lay they are very small I didn’t realize they were going to be this small but oh well. They are the goofiest little chickens they are not that friendly but are always right there next to you or with there beak in everything reach for them and they are gone. They don’t play well with others no matter what size the other chickens are. Crazy little things I have one silver and black and the others are a cinnamon color. Anyone else have these?

See raising a dozen that is 6 for me 6 for @angeldevil0271 I believe
she can let me know if she wants them can raise them to know cockerel
giving her just pullet not sure she can have cockerel another thing to learn
I would love them and yes I am only allowed to have pullets where I am at. Not allowed to have roosters in the city unfortunately. I wish I could because i would love to have baby chicks of my own. Eventually we will have a incubator but haven't had the money just yet. Of course if we hatched any we would have to either butcher the boys around 4 to 6 months when they get their voice or find them another home!
