I do not suture I use super glue used them in practice guess got use it

sugical grade suture glue is sold at some farm stores, works great for patching chickens

They do make great broody I have 4 they brood together

i have three silkies that are raising their chicks together, third time this year, only seems to work well if they set near eachother for tge last part of the brood at least, and then if the chicks all show up within a 24 hr or so span, so then the hens get off the nest together. at least with mine.

Back from Dr. appt for 6 months prevnar 13 pneumococcal vaccine while I was there arm is sore but beats the disease again... the 4 Silky are my go to if I want to raise any and right now get 3 or 4 eggs a day from them

oh ya feather bed and three or for pillows here silky are alright not seem to have the bug yet my 4 barred are laying and the cuckoo marans 4 I picked up from a breeder should start real soon

Pacific crab apples. I'm making jelly. The taste is a bit different from European crab apples

those are tiny we have a translucent apple very young I pick any left for apple butter
