Hello! I am in the Tacoma area and I’m looking to re-home an Olive Egger roo. He’s gentle with the flock of 7, but I already have a too so 2 is a bit much. He hasn’t shown aggression and eats dried worms out of my hand.

Any advice for finding him a new home that won’t find him on a serving platter at dinner time?

Would be nice but let’s see I have 15 roosters at the moment so no I don’t think I need another. I’m going to need to proses a bunch of them. You could get lucky but no guarantee someone won’t eat him

Welcome I am south of you hope you find a good home for him There is auction house Cole creek in Chehalis they take them on Fridays Auction on birds is about 10 am Saturdays you can get the money after the page is filled so about an hour after he sells
you can google the auction name

There are folks on craigs list trying to home birds most of us would sell chicks not
started birds

I see you are not to far away from me, I don’t have any birds to get rid of at the moment. So what kind of chickens are you interested in. I have black copper Marans, Crested cream Legbar, and Blue Icebar. I would need to hatch out chicks sometime this summer and raise up some birds so it wouldn’t be real soon that I would have birds for you but let me know.

I could also make some olive eggers but there is never a guarantee on that they could lay some brown eggs but I have had pretty good success. Also how many birds are you looking for?

I don't think they said a number but late fell over Moose cleaning his ears came down pretty hard on my most padded part in back but will just be a bit a bit bruised for a few days
