Instead of making a hoop house, I just used the cattle panels to make a roof over dog kennel panels. I have hardware cloth that I'll be putting around the base.

I'm going to be making a very small hoop house for my two elderly hens. Maybe 4x6.

I was just planning on using 2 panels into hoops, I bought a 10 x 16 tarp, for some extra covered run space during the winter. But your setup is so impressive!

Cattle panels are good and strong I need a new tarp on my main coop the cats walk in the darn coop but claws poke wholes now there is rain in the coop

The worst part is probably the cost I have in that. Granted it was bought over time on the kennels, but it adds up. 10x50 Roof was $486 for the cattle panels, tarps, and 120 lb test zip ties. Must use the heavy duty zip ties or they just snap (experience speaking here). I had to order them as I couldn't find a store that actually carries them. We got some of it on discount so that helped. The 6 greenhouse tarps ran $168. Those were well worth it as they don't block light. I'll remove them in warm weather. Took me months to get them all.

The plus side is that its not near the price of wood and can be moved if needed. I have had to do that.

I think it looks wonderful we are doing a barn in stages then the new coop and really have not made up my mind but cattle panels maybe a way to go

Spanning 10 feet is barely feasible for them. That's why most hoop houses are 8 feet. Makes for a stronger roof.

doubt I would do a hoop coop I would have to sell half my birds

Make MORE of them. I'm thinking of doing a bunch of little ones now to put broodies in. I have a lot of old bent cattle panels I can cut and use.

The best are going up as actual fence to hopefully deter deer and elk.

We have tons of field wire will admit that was the clincher here the entire property is fenced in field wire

I just renovated the inside of my brooder shed and turned into a coop today added poop boards and nesting areas
