Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

The lump is a large scab, which moves with her skin. Doesn't look infected, no swelling or yellow puss, but the hematoma is there. I put 3x antibiotic ointment on it yesterday, per @Eggcessive. She does respond by waking and looking at anyone who checks on her. I am wondering is she will ever walk and be normal.

TLDR: Seeking recommendations for reputable place to get HEALTHY pullets near Tacoma (not TSC).

I'm looking to add two pullets to my flock (of 2 existing chickens) in the coming months. Challenge is, I don't have space in my backyard coop setup for quarantine. I can separate them for an extended "getting to know you" period, but don't have space to set up a whole separate coop and run. So, I am willing to take the gamble, but only if I get the new girls from a very reputable source.

I'm eyeing Baxter Barn, but was wondering if anyone has any other recommendations, especially for places closer to Tacoma? I've heard mixed reports on Tractor Supply, so avoiding them for this purpose.

I don’t have facilities for true quarantine either. I hope you find a good source for your pullets. Good luck!

Actually start a emergency thread if you want to include here...

Whoo hoo! Now we’ll complain it’s too hot to work outside. Then tomorrow it’ll be too cold! :gig
I got too 🔥, had to come in. And then snow forecasted for early Sunday am. Good old bipolar weather. @pennyJo1960, the chick just died. :hitGuess her injury was just too severe. Hubby thought about it and we went and check the coop. There were some very sharp screws that had gone through the panels when he made it, and possible that she got caught in one of them. They have been sawn off and padded.

Hey back home.. Cut those screws off ! Glad to hear you did cut them off... We ended up odering the blades and drive belt for the yard tractor we have.
Headed out clean the tables in my coop 78 degrees here this is scarry hot. Realize I messed up the temp.

It’s 75 on my front porch right now. I got the one overgrown apple tree done and most of the branches hauled out. I’ve been in my laZ boy ever since! :gig
