I've been baking cookies all week. Successfully made more than 8 dozen Butterscotch Cookies, Cherry Chocolate Pistachio Cookies, Jam Thumbprints, and Angel Fingers. But for some reason my Lemon Linzer dough is too soft to roll out and cut. So I have left it in the refrigerator over night and hope to have a dough I can work with in the morning. Have no idea what went wrong. I made 6 batches of it, so I sure hope it straightens out for me.

Mom does cookies for everyone for Christmas. Used to be dozens of kinds when I was a kid. Now it's mostly just the sugar cookies everyone loves. She's also started cutting back on how many everyone gets. What happens when you get old and broken.
 
I "wanted" to go to the store today and get some So-Delicious coconut ice cream we'll see how this weather does first,

Same here. I used to make over 100 dozen cookies, now it's just about 40 dozen or so. I've cut back to 4 types of cookies now, mostly because I can get 4 boxes of cookies in a large flat rate box. It costs as much to mail the cookies as to make them these days.
