Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Good Morning State Folks. Great painting I do like it.
So for a really hot day not happening here.
We freeze water bottles the the lid off put them in the chickens water.
This is my first summer with chickens, and I'm here for ALL the suggestions! My 4 hens haven't gotten over the trauma of being moved to a new home, so now I don't know if it's the hot weather or shock that's stopped the egg laying, but I'm also not sure how long to wait before I worry! It has been 2 weeks. We get 0-2 eggs daily.

Not related to anything in particular, but I got some deals yesterday at a church rummage sale. Three lamps, all capable of using 3-way bulbs with shades in perfect condition; a magazine rack/chairside table thingy; a 24" x 36" oil on canvas seascape painting by artist G. Negrete (whoever that is...); and 6 vintage Samsonite steel folding auditorium chairs, all in near perfect condition. All for the low, low price of $23. The painting was only $1.

I like bargains!

That’s nice! The frame is nice too!

Yup lot's of poopy water. Still battling thistle here, even outside the chickens
fence, Lord did not think real clear when he made thistle.
⁷ My thistles seem to pull right out, which seems better than mowing them. I think that I should be dropping a handful of salt on the blackberry rhysomes after cutting off the big canes. Dumped a dixie cup of lawn fertilizer on the one inside the Thimble berry bush and haven't seen it come back yet. I have an old pruning pole that I use to cut the blackberry canes that are inaccessible any other way. Packing the trash tote with blackberry canes.
Oh, as for the poopy water, I dump it on the fruit trees and other garden plants. Coop gets composted every year for planting in the spring.

Morning, We boil salt and vinegar put it on them in a sprayer.
Ya I have 10 year old poop. They where in one coop no floor.
I do not like floors in my coops started using spent coffee grounds
oh coop floors.
What do the coffee grounds do for the floors? Is it an odor eater? Do the chickens peck at it? Are they decaf?
