Hi @pennyJo1960 I'm doing great! Trying to get the chicks, who are 8 weeks old, to get outside and mingle with the hens, but it's a no go so far. They like their cozy little digs. How are you doing?

@Smokerbill Cooper is definitely a good boy. He gets the girls in at night and makes sure they all get their treat, and that he gets his too. He sure is a pretty boy.

Have young ones growing here too 9 of them or so.
Like 4 of my hatch 5 I bought at Onalaska feed store we go to.
They will be replacing the old girls I have lost.
You know I lost one of the splash roosters.
Fred and Barney well seems a war started between them
Barney got the short end.

I heard about Barney a few days ago. That is so sad. Sorry they couldn't get along better.

There are lots of young dandelion leaves in the yard that I just couldn't let go to waste so I made a dandelion frittata for brunch. Tasty and healthy!
