Started to rain here just 49 out.
Wet soggy day!

Been raining here since I got up at 5.

Not here went out at 7:30 was not here.
Going out to clean the crap as it stopped.

Deer have not been here since we had to make the fence higher
to keep the white dog in.
They use to jump the fence to eat fallen apples.

We only have fencing around the chicken coop/vegetable garden area. The rest is the slug/deer area.

We have to keep the dogs out and in no birds for them.
There was field wire when we moved here got Snow.

Well, the peeps (chicks) got out of the free range area and were exploring our outer yard. So, in my PJ's I'm out there with DH herding them back in.

1/2 hour later....peeps are out of the free range area and exploring our outer yard. blink blink....What's going on???

Turns out, when DH fixed the corner of the free range fence, he left a small opening, big enough for the peeps to squeeze through.

So after a couple early morning excursions out to the chicken run, the breech was repaired and all is well in Chickenland again.
